.) Super Mario 3. Just everything about that game, it was just Nintendo at its peak too, like there wasn't "video games", it was just all "Nintendo".

.) I remember waiting so long for the N64 to come out (almost three years of following every bit of news on it!) and then on launch day I remember my local store had big boxes with the "N64" logo on them, with N64 games/controllers/systems inside of them, just remember getting real excited.

.) Playing Donkey Kong Country for the first time on the SNES ... today the graphics don't look that amazing, but when I first played it, I remember being completely blown away. It just looked so much better than anything else. Not just the graphics, but little touches like day turning to sunset then to night, the rain stopping, and the David Wise soundtrack. Still one of my favorite, if not the favorite game soundtrack.

.) Finishing Super C on the NES with my cousin and then celebrating like crazy, lol. I recently played Super C on the NES Classic and yup, it still holds up better than a lot of the other NES games.

.) Playing the Super NES for the first time and realizing that it had buttons on the shoulders! I thought they were just "bumps" on the top for comfort or something.

.) Coming home one day and my brother had bought Star Fox 64 with the Rumble Pak, and sitting down and just digging into the game, feeling rumble for the first time was really cool.

.) That moment that Street Fighter 2 on the Super NES almost ends your friendship with your best friend because the competition got too heated.

.) Getting a phone call one November 1998 evening from your buddy who works at Toys R' Us that they have your reserved gold copy of Zelda: Ocarina of Time ready for pick up and scrambling like a mad man to get to the store asap.
