Are you thinking that companies withholding or pulling out support from efforts and projects that are non-profitable or even causes a net loss is somehow poor business practice? What choice to they have?
If Nintendo fails to offer a platform and attract a demographics that is willing to pay for certain software, this surely isn't the developer's of said software's fault.
