Having seen the film Slimebeast was right to be concerned. There are white men in the film but they're clearly humilated in the film. Only about 60% of the Rebels are white and even worse some of them are women, the leader is even a woman which is clearly pure fantasy. Aside from the 10 X-Wing pilots ... and a few leaders of the Rebellion there's barely any white men in the film at all. At one point the one black woman in the movie even speaks in the film which is ... like ... uh "I thought this supposed to be Star Wars?".
Sometimes the movie even has like three or four colored folk in one shot, it's really humiliating. Also the brown guy in the film has a British accent which is insulting. It's like it's bad enough you stole the role from a talented white male actor, but you have to steal an English accent too? Maybe he had the accent anyway, but I can't help but think this was part of the agenda. I was deeply uncomfortable for all the white men in the audience, sure they were quiet watching the film but I could tell they were distressed, a few eating (thankfully white) popcorn to hide their shame. Also they continue to force Darth Vader, a proud white man, to wear a *black* suit, which really says a lot. What? Am I to believe there's no ivory suit for him to wear? Not even for a day?
