I even implied the opposite, that in the scenario in these movies about a distant future, it is very likely that mankind has become multicultural and the proportion of white people would be relatively low. If the creators would want to represent that future in order to make the movie feel more authentic I wouldn't have any problem with that. And like I said, that could very well be one of the actual reasons for the makeup of the cast in Rogue One, but it's unfortunately not the main reason. The main reason is a political agenda, and that's what I'm criticizing.

Hollywood is moved by money and movie and ticket sales more than I believe where you are going.  In other words the more represetnive of different races you have in a movie the better your ticket sales especially since these movies get played around the world.  I think you are missing the obvious answer for a more convoluted one.

I wish that was the full motive, but I think it is very naive to assume just that.
