Yes, I really don't care about the portable part. ...

Probably not since this is a hand held console. If you think about it for what it actually is (as of right now, I could be wrong and this opinion change but based on what we know), then you will realize you are looking for a home console out of a hand held and you are not in their market. If you care about a powerful hand held, then you have one... but if you are looking for a powerful home console, this will not foot the bill. It is that simple. Being portable is the most important part, because it is a hand held console.

If I wanted a portable gaming system I would get an Ipad, Android Tablet or a Surface Pro.  I can't think think of a compelling reason to walk around with something that is just a gaming system.  When for just a bit more, I could get something I could use in many other ways.

Plus, I think most of the kids I know that have tablets just use them for gaming, mostly.  But that is not the excuse why parent buy them.

This seems like it is aimed exclusively  at the Japanese gaming market.

Really not sure I see any point of Consol over PC's since Kinect, Wii and other alternative ways to play have been abandoned.
