Dat Dragon ball super ep.

One of the best fillers I've ever seen.

Is anything in Super filler though, really? Akira Toriyama is writing it with scriptwriters then reviewing and editing as necessary for the episodes. Since there is no source material, technically either all of Super is filler, or since Toriyama is involved with every episode, the whole thing could be canon. Even if some episodes are basically nonsense, if they're nonsense from the guy who made the series, it's basically as canon as Super can get.

Even if parts don't make it into the manga, since the manga is being adapted from the anime, the manga can't be considered the canon material for Super.

And this is why all of Dragon Ball may as well be considered canon because at this point the differentiation is basically nonexistent and layered with semantics.

Well, the expection to that is GT, since it was nullified by Super and was created with basically no involvement from Akira Toriyama. It was the closest equivalent to official fan fiction that we had seen until Fifty Shades of Gray found its way into American cinema.
