Now, WiiU isn't the same system as Switch and neither is the philosophy behind them, so there could have some merit and legitimatecy to the rumour itself, but we'll see. It would be nice playing Dark Souls on the go, that being said.

It does seem though that Nintendo is at least trying to aim the Switch at a bit of an older/upmarket audience at first.
The trailer had zero kids in it.
Switch is kinda like the PS4 of gaming portables in some ways as it's fairly high end hardware for a portable.
The Wii U carrying the "Wii" brand brought a lot of stigma with it as far as being something for casual/soccer moms/kids. But Switch isn't following that branding.
