So you stand by your claim that 90% of VGC users believe the difference is "worlds different"? Nintendo fans and all? And no, i think it might be you misunderstand. You said your reason for making the comparison is because, to quote you exactly and in full "As for my comparison i am referring to 90% of thie site who made out that 900p and 1080p were worlds different yet compare that to the avaerge human who doesnt actually care and are still happy buying DvD quality movies.". I was pointing out that DVD having an objective advantage over Blu-ray (average cost) makes your claim that DVD's popularity is proof that 'the average human doesnt actually care' is aimless. Without controlling for that objective variable (so proving people don't care at all, rather than simply valuing cost over quality), you're just making an assumption and asserting it as fact. By extension, the absence of that same variable with the PS4 and X1 makes the comparison silly. |
Than if it makes you happy, lets change the % ratio. Either way, heaps on this very own site talked up 1080p being everything. Choose to ignore that if you wish. Iv seen what people have written on here.
Yes, i still stand by my post that not many care about upgrading to Blu-Ray, you know why? Because if they did care they would simply upgrade. *Mind Blown*
Blu-Ray isnt exactly expensive to get into. The main reason why many dont upgrade is because they dont see the point. DvD offers a satifactory movie experince. Much like 900p offers to gamers etc.
