I suppose A Thieves End being the last uncharted game and Gears being just another Gears also added to the sales.
However, compared to when Gears launched and now, the amount of great mp experiences has greatly increased. Even Cod is struggling to keep its userbase and I'm not sure how Gears, Cod and Halo will be able to hold on. I suppose Halo just needs 343 to create a better campaign.
