It's also unbelievably inconsistent. Let's say Argentina is fine in first because of the 3 straight finals in 3 huge tournaments. Brazil, which had horrible results in their last 2 tournaments (and, imo, a bad showing in the 2014 WC), is second! HOW!?

Because they defeated powerhouses like Peru, Bolivia and Argentina! Makes perfect sense to me.
