Yup, this is very important for Switch because Bethesda is one of most hardcore 3rd party developer on market, they really don't have also casual games like EA, Ubi, Activision...

People said this about Call of Duty for Wii U as well, that it would be a huge deal for Nintendo to have a "real" Call of Duty, and no one bought it.

I'm skeptical Skyrim sells well at all on Switch. It's a 5 year old game already available on 5 other platforms with this style of game having no established base within the Nintendo ecosystem to lean on.

Minecraft will sell well on Switch ... things like Skyrim ... I doubt it.

You missing point, GC, Wii had CoD games same like Wii U, so CoD games on Wii U was not relly anuthing new for Nintendo console (and CoD couldnt do anuthing for Wii U beacuse Wii U had some other huge problems), and CoD on Switch really wouldn't be nothing new (Switch will most likly have CoD game also). But Nintendo platforms didn't had almost any Bethesda game from NES/SNES, and now Switch will have Bethesda games. Like I wrote Bethesda is probably most hardcore 3rd party developer on market, and having Bethesda on board is huge win for Switch. And not only that, they sound very exaited about Switch and they never were exatied about any Nintendo console, and this Todd Howard guy is not same guy thats is known for hypeing things just beacuse PR talk.

Skyrim could sell well on Switch, Nintendo fans who love Zelda could play Skyrim, especially because Zelda BotW is coming few months after Skyrim and also has huge open world like Zelda.

Also its not only about Nintendo fans, there are people who would love to play Skyrim on go, I already saw some people saying they considering buying Switch because they could play Skyrim on go. From that point of view, Switch can be interesting for 3rd parties, because they can offer their games in portable mode also on Switch and they are aware of fact beacuse they are people who are interesting to play 3rd party games on go also, and on Switch they have game that could play in portable and home mode, PS4/XB1 do not offer that.
