Easy port does not mean that they won't have to heavily downgrade them.
Every time a Nintendo system is released we hear that it's "so easy" to develop for etc etc. But after a few years we hear stuffs like "the wii was a nightmare, not enough blah blah" "The WiiU is awful, two screens is too complicated, etc etc"
But well this time I think it might really be "easy". Thanks to Nintendo for stopping with the powerPC nightmare, and going with Nvidia for the GPU, this time we could have a console that really has a chance to win a lot of third party support.
I would never have thought that Nvidia would already come back to consoles, especially with Nintendo. I hope the partnership last and that Nintendo willl create an ecosystem of devices like the switch.
Shared library of games, full compatiblity of VC titles across all platforms, one unified OS. That would be cool
