Sounds like VGC needs a Nintendo Switch is "Domed" thread.
Jokes aside, if the Switch does about as well as Nvidia's Shield, either Nintendo is going to have to scale back its presence in the home gaming market or restructure itself into a software, IP and services business. It would be a bit odd to play Nintendo games on non-Nintendo consoles, but we've seen crazier things over the years.
Personally, I think it looks like a great home for the next generation of Nintendo sequels and I like the portability of the hardware, which makes it the easiest console to live with, but I also really liked the PS Vita and we all know how that turned out. Of course the Switch has the advantage of replacing both the 3DS and Wii U with a single device.
