I would like to see a Nintendo x Microsoft team up. Why not. They are basically across the street from each other anyway.

Having three divided companies in this business has never worked. One always ends up getting the very short end of the stick in consoles (see also: Turbo Grafx 16, Sega Saturn, Sega Dreamcast, GameCube, etc. etc.). It only worked in the Wii era because of a fluke miracle break out hit with the Wiimote and as far as I can see, Nintendo has nothing new like that at all (making the Wii U tablet basically portable instead of tethered to the home console is not a "revolution").

Bromance it up. A Nintendo + MS console would be gaurunteed to have a solid position in the market always, no need for relying on gimmicks and flaky audiences that bail out on you for cheap smartphone games and are unwilling to try anything more complex than a Mario Kart game even after 5 years.

I could get behind this!
