This topic as as dumb on the 1 millionth time it has come up as it was on the first.
Nintendo has enough money to have a few WiiUs without leaving the industry. A failed NS would just bring new hardware likely a bigger focus on lower cost portables. However, I don't see how NS will do worse that WiiU. The NS will be profitable day one.
