Even if you hate Trump beyond belief, please remember that he has around the same amount of support as Hillary does. Think about this. Are you proposing we kill 40-45% of Americans, to make the country "good" again? "Supporting Trump means that you're a bad person" No, that kind of thinking makes you a bad person. There is a time after the election as well, and people have to live with eachother, despite their different opinions. You cannot erase different opinions. The mature thing is to (recommended: discuss and explain, then) agree to disagree and move on. |
People are free to choose whoever they want to be their friends.
I wouldn't be friends with someone who is a racist person.
Why should I? Friends are a time/effort commitment, why should I invest time (which is in the end more valuable than money) on someone who holds views that are toxic/hateful in my eyes?
It's not worth it. There's a million other people to "friend".
They can have their opinion, and I can disagree with it. A lot of Republicans are only voting for Trump by holding their nose and doing so as well. The only reason this election is even close is because Hilary is the only candidate in modern political history who is almost as unpopular as Trump is.
If he was running against a charismatic politican like a Barack Obama or Bill Clinton, he would've gotten completely wrecked in this election. Marco Rubio would've beaten Hilary, but the lunatic fringe of the Republican party went Trump rather than choosing some one reasonable.
