The articles do not say that Laura Kate talked about the price and games. 

Pretty much no one gets legit inside details on Nintendo software details on the new Mario. 

That's your no.1 tip off this is a giant load of bullshit. Pro-tip to people who want to fake a rumor, never do the whole "the new Mario features Mario riding a giant dildo that can insert into the Mushroom Kingdom and activate Yoshi and is a mix of Sunshine and Galaxy" type nonsense. 

Any game play detail like that is sure bet you are full of shit, Nintendo does not share that stuff even with NOA/NOE. 

It's written by people who have no idea how Nintendo Japan operates.
