That's what worries me. I want to get a switch, but worry if it underperforms Nintendo will sweep it under the rug like Wii U and leave me with nothing to play again. Im still mulling over wether to go full on Playstation, as I currently divide my gaming time evenly between PS4 and Wii U.

Go full PlayStation. At least you know that with PS they are never alone. Its not guaranteed that Nintendo gets 3rd party, but it is that Sony does.
