I suppose it makes sense though....the casual, cheap games sell on the wii...look at Carnival Games, etc. As long as crappy games that take NOTHING to develop keep selling 100,000+ copies guaranteeing a profit because they don't cost anything to make, developers will keep making these casual/kiddy games.

Quit buying the crap, and the Prince of Persia's and Beyond Good and Evil 2's, etc. will come to the Wii instead.

As a fellow Wii owner, I think we must DEMAND quality games if you really want to see developers stop making Party Babyz type games. I'm really disappointed to not see any adult oriented JRPG's as of yet. It seems like Wii would be the perfect system for them, yet they are STILL non-existent.

I don't know...Maybe I'm wrong and the majority of Wii owners are little kids and pre-schoolers that don't care about anything but casual games. But I know that that is NOT the reason I bought my Wii. Maybe the massive sales for the Wii are a bad thing because developers seem to be assuming they are all little kids that don't want hardcore adult games.

Sort of pisses me off a bit. I didn't buy my Wii for baby games and dog games and cooking games.

Blame the expanded audience and Ignorance Parent, Wii don't have good category of game like DS, parents may just buy game because of their name or what so ever. That's why good game don't sell, bad game sell(e.g. Z&W). Carnival Games is not that bad,Game Party is(How to sell game on Wii? A good name like Game Party - 800,000 units Sold!). I believe it will become platinum seller soon, what a Hall of Fame for Million seller list.

Poor PS3 Sales Means Smaller Losses

"Actually, because the number of units sold was not as high as we hoped, the loss was better than our original expectation," Quotes from Sony’s CFO Nobuyuki Oneda.
