So it lived just 3 years and 11 months. That's... not long.
I'm not sure if Wii is fully discontinued yet, Wikipedia's not really clear, mentioning only the discontinuation of the original worldwide and the "Family Edition" in Europe, but not mentioning Wii Mini. Anyway WiiU's a flop in every way you look at it, sales, impact, mediocre library with only a handful of titles that were worth it and now longevity. Dreamcast may have only sold a little over 9m, but at least with it reaching the number in 1.5-2 years it actually sold faster. And it was actually a good system, but that's beside the point. I'll hold judgement on a Vita comparison until Sony releases some concrete numbers.
