Like I said, it is the sort of mistake you make with the first time you buy a console around launch time, that mistake of thinking that all of the preview footage shown before launch should be expected during the launch window of the machine. I mean the 3ds bombed so much with its launch they offered the ambassador program to repay the early adopters.

But ya long story short, don't buy a console at launch if you want all the aaa games demoed and don't buy a console at all of you'll be annoyed if a game from the platform is ever ported or remastered to another machine because that can always happen because software Developers want their games played by as many people as possible and on all the platforms that can potentially play it.

I honestly thought Nintendo would do what Sony did with the PS3 since they didn't kill the system in 2013, announced more games for it and promised support so that customers would be satisfied.

I won't listen to them ever again.

Also, the remasters on Switch are not comparable with the remasters on PS4 and XBox One. With a few notable exceptions, most remasters on those systems are from games released 5-10 years ago. Backwards compatibility is also not comprable, since new owners are not getting better graphics or extra content (that is not available for early adopters or is a ripoff like most DLC). Also, in the case of backwards compatibility, you have to either already own the game, or buy it used, since most games for old systems are out of print.

Would you mind showing a picture of your Wii-U and games collection? Just wouldn't mind seeing which of the First party games you have and will be upset should they go to the switch.
