Not neccessarily.

Nintendo chooses strategically to put certain games on iOS/Android ... you still have to buy a Switch to get your full fill of Nintendo games.

Nintendo could do something similar eventually for Playstation/XBox. You get a taste of Nintendo IP there, but to get the full Nintendo experience you have to buy a Switch.

If Mario & Zelda go 3rd party... I could probably live without splatoon/pikmen/metroid/smash ect... Pretty sure theres alot that feel that way.

Which Mario & Zelda? Because "Mario & Zelda" themselves represent like 4-5 different franchises/subfranchises on their own.

Like for example, what if Nintendo made F-Zero (new), Metroid (new), and a Zelda: Breath of the Wild 4K port for XBox/Playstation. But they then had a new Zelda game for the Switch.

And Switch is getting say an Uncharted Switch or Halo Switch on top of that.

I bet you'd still buy a Switch on top of the PS4 you probably were going to buy anyway.
