PS5 era would be the absolute earliest Nintendo would be forced into third party, and probably not even that soon. Not that I think it will happen at all, Nintendo knows the ups and downs of the idustry and how to survive and rebuild themselves. |
How are the PS4/5/Scorpio/XBox more competetion for the Switch than iOS/Android are?
Switch can co-exist with the Playstation/XBox even if Nintendo decides to give PS/XB a few games. They already do this with iPhone/iPad/Android.
It doesn't have to be one or the other.
