If Uncharted is on Xbox One, don't care either, Mario on PC? Why not? It's their business decision, I just care about playing games.

The real competition is against the mobile market. Nintendo is already a third party publisher for mobile devices.

People are too hung up on the hardware, and not enough on the software.

 

Imagine if Samsung/sony and LG were the only 3 manufacturing movie players (blu ray DVDs etc), and that they'll compete against each others and get movie companies to make their movies exclusive, or multiplatforms.

This is basically the system we have with video games. The only loser here is the customer. If tomorrow there was one console that played all the video games of the 3 consoles, I would be happy to buy it.

What we have is not competition, it's a useless, dated system where the consumer has to by more products.
