I think having a PS4pro allows Sony that kinda flexibility to have a $199 PS4 and $299 PS4pro sometime in 2017 and 2018. It just comes down to how aggressive they aim to be. |
Glad you have come around to the idea that Sony keeps a low cost PS4 entry model (additional to the Pro version) to reach the group of price sensitive people who wouldn't buy a console for $200+, no matter how good it is.
Earlier that year this "manufacturing nightmare" made "zero sense" to you. ;)
