As for sales every console is a seperate one and the performance of it's predecessor doesn't say much for the next console. The PS2 sold great yet the PS3 was a disaster for quite some time. The Gamecube wasn't exactly on fire but the Wii was.
As for specs it's closer to Wii U than Xone, it really isn't that hard to see why people compare it with Wii U. The graphical quality will of SWITCH games won't be close to PS4 or Xone games. It will be a bit closer at best, it still misses a teraflop compared to the regular PS4. It also misses some RAM, but perhaps the CPU is a bit more powerful.
As for third party support if you remember the Wii U is launch it's not stupid to remain sceptical. The NS is a promising concept, although it remains to be seen how well the homeconsole games om the go can be a successful formula.
I can see the tablet having limited battery life and getting hot during demanding scenes. The detachable controllers are great for multiplayer although the buttons are very limited. I don't know enough about the games to be excited or sceptical I will wait that one out till January.
