Userbase plays a massive roll on sales, and considering Halo 5 being one of the worst selling Halo games in the franchise, and UC4 being the best PS4 game on the market and they come out sqaure on sales.. (excluding Digital) that is a compliment to Halo not UC4.

Heres a good stat for the people in this thread.

1 in every 4 XB1 owners has Halo 5

1 in every 8 PS4 owners has UC4

Now until Sony claims UC4 has sold over 5million units, than at this very point in time, Halo 5 has sold more than UC4. This Article and its headline is misleading.

It's total. Shipped retail + sold digital. As has been pointed out several times.

It's a compliment to Halo that the newest game from a series that up to this point has averaged 9.34 million sales is only now falling behind a game from a series that has averaged 6.17 million sales?

Even if you were right, and userbase ment a 1:1 increase it sales (it doesn't). Uncharted 4 has caught up to Halo 5 in less than half the time with less than twice the userbase. So, it would still be outselling Halo 5 if userbase were the same.

So if Halo shipped 5million in its first 3 month and its been sitting on 4million psyical sales for the past few months than you expect it to still be sitting on 4m sales? Espeacilly when MS came out and said its the highest selling digital game on Xbox *At the time*

It also grossed $400m with combined Software and Hardware sales. How much did UC4 make for Sony?

The way you should look at it is like this - UC4 is Sonys best game on PS4 and it has double the User base *which helps boltster sales* Halo 5 is the lowest selling mainline Halo game in the franchise and it still matches Sony's best. Compliment to Halo 5. UC4 will go on to sell like it usually does around 5 to 6m and Halo 5 will most likely end up the same with half the install base.

If Halo 5 was a PS4 exclusive it would have outsold UC4 quite easily.

Halo 5's attach rate is also twice that of UC4.
