I think NS will largely do well with the 3DS audience. That's going to be it's main migration base. And most the exclusives it gets will be games that are already exclusive to the 3DS.
It's not suddenly going to stop the PS4 or XB1 from selling one bit though. Maaaaybe at best they can convince a few hardcore PS4/XB players to buy an NS for portable gaming.
Nintendo does their token "developer exclusive" thing, with Wii they financed The Last Story from Mistwalker, with Wii U it was Bayonetta 2 and Devil's Third, maybe for NS if they're feeling extra generous it'll be Beyond Good & Evil 2 and Bayonetta 3. I wouldn't mind that.
