Well, not surprising. The Switch is too close to make people care that much about the U anymore, and amiibos need games to work on to be able to sell. I'm sure Nintendo will make that free to play Amiibo game for the Switch, and it will push a lot of those, plus giving people reasons to get them if little rewards aren't enough.
