From that photo, it looks like the tablet itself will be perfectly portable and capable of putting in someone's pocket, especially if it's slimmer than the New 3DS XL, while the Joy-Cons can be in another pocket, and when you feel like playing you can take them out, hook them up, and you're good to go.
But between the tablet, my phone, my wallet, and my keys, and having 4 pants pockets, I'll have to either cram a lot of stuff into one or two pockets or wear a sweater, jacket, or shirt with pockets.
