Dont be so salty friend. The point the OP made is a valid one. Yes, there will be a lot of Nintendo gamers that will want full game experiences on the go. I wouldn't be surprised if the entire 3DS installed base upgrades to the Switch. But Nintendo is going after the massive number of casual mobile gamers with the Switch, its obvious. Many of them don't want full console games on the go. I personaly will get the Switch day one and will love it to death. The mass market casuals Nintendo are hoping to convert from smart devices won't want what the system offers.

I think Switch has to offer the higher end experiences, because if it jut offers "bite size" games, then why would you just not use your tablet or phone which most people already have?

Besides the 3DS is basically a console. There's nothing hugely different other than graphics about Smash Brothers or Mario Kart or Mario 3D Land or NSMB or DKC on the 3DS as there is Wii U. And now you're getting Mario Maker and Yoshi's Wooly World, etc.

The whole "Nintendo portables must have totally different style of games from the console" went out the window a long time ago (probably about mid way through the DS era).

It's not like the days of GB or GBA where it was basically impossible to run something like Mario 64 or Zelda: OoT.
