This is sad

when PES is better

I bought both this year, while the first touch and passing/shooting mechanics are better in PES, I find the physical mechanics to be severely lacking, it feels like the players have little weight and they're sort of floating on the grass, like they're hovering half an inch above it and aren't really affected by traction and surface conditions much at all. And the licensing is woeful at best, which everyone knows before buying the game. Sure, there are mods that add real names and jerseys etc. but it does detract from the complete package a whole lot.

Overall, PES and FIFA are about even on gameplay, but still, for some reason, I have only 8-10 hours on PES and over 90 on FIFA, the sum of all the parts and all that. I want to like PES more, mostly due to EA being a bunch of megalomaniacal dickwads with turd passing from every orifice, but I just can't... (Besides, I'm pretty pissed at Konami as well...)
