If a gamer like me cannot figure out where to use it, what would the more mainstream gamers think of it? Casuals obviously aren't going to buy it.

It really just calls into question how much a gamer you are. You could play it on lunch at work, in the car, on a plane, at a friend's, on vacation, when the power goes out, on the toilet, on the porch...
