No I think they will just wait for 10nm or 7nm tech -- in layman's terms, that means Nvidia will eventually be able to offer Nintendo a smaller/cooler version of the same chip, which Nintendo in turn will be able to make a smaller "Pocket Switch" with.
That will basically be curtains for the 3DS/DS brand then I think.
