I'm not sure it rolls off the tongue. Being such a common word, it requires you to say Nintendo first. Previously I could just say 3ds or wii, etc. Granted others you have to say out fully too to be understood such as xboxone. PS4 is only one you can shorten.
However, we could say "NS". That is likely what I'll do.
