Νο I didn't do that! Actually, I wanted you to see that in the way that you have worded it, it's misunderstable! That's why I said you to forgive me for my ironic style because I was suspecting that you don't mean it in that way ( but the future of Nintendo as a company in terms of buisness strategy/nature ) but the comment is defecient so anyone could intepret it like that! :( |
Honestly, I'm both excited and nervous about the NX, for my own part I feel like they may shift focus even more on to handheld games, which is fine and probably smart from a business standpoint but I've never been a fan of it myself. I don't want Nintendo to leave the console space, especially home consoles, they work as a good counter-weight to the other two and their 1st franchises are second to none in sheer gameplay fun.
I wrote rather extensively on it in the thread that shall not be named, but I'm rather disappointed with both Sony and MS since the 7th gen and feel that console gaming has taken a turn for the worse. Unfortunately; Nintendo have contributed to this with the Wii U, in my opinion, by offering very poor breadth of software (which is mostly down to poor 3rd party support) and remaining too far behind on things like online, digital stores and actual, proper use of their own controller. It almost feels like they never really, truly believed in their own idea, if you see what I mean.
I hope the NX is fantastic and puts them in the black on finance reports and on the radar on the market again, but I'm nervous about the potential lack of a proper, foresighted plan in place, as was the case during the Wii days, which resulted in the Wii U. They need to read and adapt to the market, I don't think they'll manage to force a new one into reality again, not under these circumstances when gaming has branched out as much as it has.
