Things like that are not a "joke". People who "joke" like that at my place of work find themself getting escorted off by the police with a disorderly conduct ticket. Being rude to other people is not funny. If you friends find something like that funny just keep stuff like that between you and your friends. If you do that to a person who you do not know personally, it just rude and uncalled for, in fact that is the very definition of bullying.
Sorry for going off like that but that is one of my pet peeves.
