Power+architecture alone will not gaurantee support. Had the initial wave of 3rd party games sold well then they would have continued to support Wii U but there was little audience for those games on Wii U. People either just stuck with the PS3/360 that they already owned or upgraded to the the more powerful PS4/XBO and people looking for a budget console chose the cheaper PS3/360. Thats the same situation NX would be in, the people who already own a PS4/XBO will either stick with those or upgrade to the more powerful PS4 Pro/Scorpio and people looking for a budget console will get the cheaper Slim models. Why would Sony/MS fans by a Nintendo console as a secondary/tertiary console for multiplats? They wont, they will buy it for Nintendo games & other exclusives or not buy it at all. |
Wii U didn't have the same architecture mate you're mistaken there, the rumour also doesn't say it's a me 2 console it says the specs are comparable while maintaining that it has a unique concept to it. The platform is not really aimed at the PS4 and X1 audience.
