No, you will simply HAVE to buy another Wii U to play. It was announced Jan 2013, there is no excuse. If you choose to not buy it, then you miss out, simple as that.

I guess I will miss it then man, it is Nintendo NX or PSVR to me in the near future. I will probably buy one of them at june next year.

The WiiU is history to me, just like my PSVita. I am no collector by the way. Once I cease to play a console, I give it away.
