Yes, influenced, but point is that Sega almost bankrupt, basically they left you without money, that's why they were forced to abandon hardware market. Nintendo is in totally different position, they are full of money and they are making profit this gen despite Wii U failed, Nintendo is currently expanding business.

I wonder if the WiiU failed financially, like, if the profit was smaller than the cost overall, RD and everything. If I ran these companies I would always make plans to turn a profit even in the darkest of the scenarios. I hate risk.
