Why would a company give a studio a HC DK before a platform launches when they've never done a game for HC? Companies like Capcom and SE would have both DKs because they're not only priority but do both HH and HC games that's not the same as developer like Renegade Kid who mainly focus on HH, even then I assure you these companies wouldn't give the HC DK to one of their HH focused studio because the studio wouldn't. These studios can register their interest and recieve one later on but right now it would be about getting the appropriate kits to priority studios. To me two devices is just more plausible as the's less chance for conflicts in the HH and HC element and would make things easier for Nintendo to execute. |
How do you mean that it would make things easier for Nintendo? I see one (two) big advantagese for having two different devices; they'd make more money. Even if both consoles shares the majority of games between them, having two distinkt consoles would mean Nintendo can make exclusive titles for both and thus having people double dipping.
I'm on Twitter @DanneSandin!
Furthermore, I think VGChartz should add a "Like"-button.
