Those 47 Buyers in Japan would like to disagree with you!

That's cool for the X1S though, if you see videos like the Digital Foundry ep on the Rise of the Tomb Raider running on the PS4 it includes a portion comparing the X1S version to the original X1 and really the S model tidies up a lot of the torn and dropped frames that the original X1 had (it still misses some shadows in areas's) but it is actually a nice little upgrade over the original X1 in terms of a smooth gameplay experience.

Digital Foundry Vid time stamped to the area I mean

It's actually more than just shadows. Cutscenes on PS4 version run in 1080p, it has higher quality ambient occlusion, very high settings for screenspace reflections and better performance compared to Xbox One without having to upgrade to Slim. But it's still pretty good on X1/X1S obviously.

Aye over the course of that full video DF shows a fair few other changes in areas that the X1 version of the game goes for a different approach to delivering the game to the player, but just in terms of Framerate the X1S sure does a whole better attempt at handling the game over the original model of the system. The weird jaggies on the X1 version compared to the PS4/PC would be a bit offputting but the stable framerate is a good sign that the Slim model did get a bit of a increase to performance.
