I already feel like it is much more than a novelty. I would preffer to never play a racer outside of VR again unless it is a Mario Kart. The on rails shooter genere is a totally diferent and better experience. I think Resident Evil and Far Point will ruin FPS and Horor games for me in January. VR + Motion is just hands down a better experience. Even 3D + Move in games like Killzone 3, Resistance 3, and Gran Turismo 5 made for a massivly better expeirnce.
This is truly the next medium in entertainment. This is as big as the jump from Radio to TV. Just like TV didn't kill radio, VR won't kill TV, but VR is the ultimate way we take in media, and interact with out electronics for the next couple of decades.
Stop hate, let others live the life they were given. Everyone has their problems, and no one should have to feel ashamed for the way they were born. Be proud of who you are, encourage others to be proud of themselves. Learn, research, absorb everything around you. Nothing is meaningless, a purpose is placed on everything no matter how you perceive it. Discover how to love, and share that love with everything that you encounter. Help make existence a beautiful thing.
