Damn, so Nintendo is flying people from retailers to a location to train them? This tells me three things:
1) It's a complicated device that needs a fair amount of understanding to describe accordingly
2) Nintendo have learned from their mistakes with the Wii U
3) Nintendo is trying real hard to make this as successful as possible

Two of those points are positive things, but it's also worrisome; a device that is hard to understand and use is a hard sell. Wii was so simple, while the Wii U wasn't. And look what that got Nintendo.

I'm glad someone gets it...

I think #2 is more of the focal point. With the wii-u nintendo did not do a training of this degree, and admittingly the reps are not as invested in the wii-u, and we can all agree the sales reflect that as an attribute to the under-performance of the console.

I only hope they take every aspect of the new device this seriously: better marketing and having a bunch of games ready at launch for starters.

I'm on Twitter @DanneSandin!

Furthermore, I think VGChartz should add a "Like"-button.
