I think that if the the rumors are true of a hybrid device, whether or not it's a 2-in1 device (where you can carry the controller with you and use as a portable console) or if it's 2 devices working together (as in, one home console and one portable console working seperately but that can interact and play the same games), this all makes perfect sense; Nintendo would want to make it perfectly clear what kind of a device this is. They wouldn't want a repeat of the Wii U. It's not a complicated concept, but it is complex. Hence why educating retail staff as best as possible makes sense.

Exactly.

The staff will find a lot of people who don't know what the best one is and a lot of people in doubt over which one to buy. They will be the ones that will "convince" people on what the best option is. And that where you need to start.

Not only might the actual device(s) need some understanding and explaining, but they (Nintendo) might be planning several different bundles that needs further explanations.

I'm on Twitter @DanneSandin!

Furthermore, I think VGChartz should add a "Like"-button.
