We'll start seeing more and more hints of the device in their social media, which will hype even more the rumours. Then, they'll announce a Direct. It will be a regular Direct, but on it they will tell us a date in which they'll unveil "the next new thing from Nintendo". Naturally, the internet explodes with anticipation. During this time, they will give to the biggest gaming press sites a copy of the device, but they'll be unable to show the thing until the day Nintendo does so. Then, they will show the NX, both in a Direct and a live event. The Direct for the regular public, the live event for the press and for possible devs. Then we'll be able to see the thing on the next big gaming event before release, showing the NX lineup. Big ads on everything they can get their hands on, their mobile games will send notifications of the device's existence.
