The Hybrid platform idea is far more functional & economically viable then fitting 2 independt consoles in one box.

But the hybrid idea will have a portable system that is to big to be portable with poor battery life and a home console functionality that is subpar. And many people don't want full console quality games on the go, but smaller mobile style games.

But at the very least, the home console part will be solid, so there will be something Nintendo can put their weight behind without restrictions.
