It's pretty obvious they have an inferiority complex but I think Phil Spencer handles it extremely well based on interviews where he comes off as quite humble but balanced, and that he admits that Xbox has done things wrong in the past, things that they're working on constantly to catch up, that it's important for them to "listen to the gamers" and constantly improve and consumer friendly stuff like that.
And their practical results in reality prove that it's not just bullshit PR talk. XBox has changed in a positive way.
Psychologically they took the beating in a good way. And gamers are the winners in this case.
