It's also like briniging in other franchises for comparison, The Fast and the furious movie also had a tough time with critics with the second sequel going down the drain. Critics' score doesn't have to reflect all times whether a movie is actually better or not, because the audience gives the final verdict. How many movies do often that are terribly rated get past the 300 million dollar? SS according to critcs is not as good as BvS, yet when you compare its BO legs to BvS, it is more. More audience have flocked to see SS than GOTG( if you rule China out). Same applies for Avatar and Star Wars:TFA, making the former a more widely accepted movie by audience while ruling out domestic gross.
