They simply cant afford to repeat Wii U's mistakes of releasing an under powered console that cant run third party games. It has to be PS4 level or bust imo

Big western publishers are going to consider Nintendo as a last option anyway, better catter the japanese devs to get their big IPs. Capcom, Square Enix, Sega... the have wester-focused IPs that would work well on the NX.
